ouston attorney W. Perry Zivley, Jr., was born in Houston, Texas on August 16, 1961 and has lived in Houston all of his life. He graduated from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas in 1983 with a BBA in Finance and obtained a legal degree from South Texas College of Law in 1986. He was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in November 1986 and is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in all Federal District Courts in Texas.

Initially, his legal practice involved oil & gas litigation, business and commercial litigation and defending personal injury suits for corporate clients that had a large self-insured retention.Mr. Zivley has also handled numerous cases during this time involving white collar crime, fraud, consumer law, bad faith insurance law personal injury law.

InOctober 1993 Mr. Zivley became associated with a smaller firm that handled general civil litigation, including serious personal injury and death cases and business and commercial litigation. During this time Mr. Zivley developed his passion for representing clients that had suffered serious personal injuries and death as a result of negligence, gross negligence, medical malpractice and products liability.

In May 1997 Mr. Zivley started Zivley Law Firm.
